2025 Medicare Rules & Regulations

This webinar will address current rules and regulations as they apply to Cardiac Rehabilitation, Intensive Cardiac, SET PAD, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Outpatient Respiratory Services programs.  New CMS reimbursement rates and rulings will be presented as well as clarification and reinforcement of the current roles of Non-Physician Providers in these services. This webinar will review topics that cause confusion, frequently asked questions, and variability among the MACs.

  • Demonstrate competence in their interpretation and application of current Medicare rules for delivery of cardiac rehabilitation, intensive cardiac rehabilitation and SET PAD programs. 
  • Recognize the relationship between federal regulations, local governmental regulations, and private insurers.
  • Verbalize the role of non-physician providers within CR/ICR/PR services. 
  • Differentiate between Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) and Outpatient Respiratory Services (ORS).
  • Identify applicable billing codes for PR and ORS, and what services are “bundled.”
  • Discuss tips to help determine what program is appropriate for your patient referral.

AACVPR’s Education Committee is seeking presentations for the upcoming calendar year for monthly webinars.

AACVPR is pleased to offer honorarium for selected presenters. Each selected webinar will be awarded $200 per content hour, to be divided evenly among the presenters.
