Monday, June 1, 2026 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. CT
This interactive virtual workshop provides a practical deep dive into implementing hybrid and virtual delivery models for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation following Congress’s extension of Medicare telehealth and in-home CR/ICR/PR flexibilities through December 31, 2027. This major advocacy victory creates a critical window for programs to launch, expand, and strengthen hybrid care – while generating the real-world evidence needed to support permanent coverage.
During this workshop, national experts and experienced program leaders will translate these new flexibilities into actionable clinical, operational, and technical strategies. Through real-world examples and virtual simulation, participants will explore safety protocols, patient engagement approaches, staffing and workflow considerations, and best practices for delivering high-quality virtual exercise and patient education – positioning programs to improve access, increase participation, and demonstrate the value of virtual rehabilitation in support of ongoing advocacy efforts. Note: There is a 75-person capacity for this course.
